Advertising Disclosure
In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), GoodLeap Financing Loans discloses its advertising relationships below. Last updated October 24, 2026.
Short Version
We may receive compensation when a reader submits the Apply form on this site and is matched with a licensed third-party lender in our advertising partner network. This compensation does not influence what we write about GoodLeap or any other financial product. We are not GoodLeap, LLC, and we do not receive any compensation from GoodLeap.
How We Earn Revenue
This site is operated as an independent editorial review platform supported by advertising revenue. The advertising model works as follows:
- We publish editorial reviews of GoodLeap, LLC products, including solar loans, home improvement financing, and mortgage products.
- Readers who want to compare personal loan and installment loan alternatives submit the Apply form.
- Information from the Apply form is routed to lenders in an advertising partner network maintained by a third-party aggregator.
- Lenders that match the reader's state and loan parameters may extend prequalified offers.
- We receive a small advertising fee for connecting readers with the partner network. This fee is paid whether or not the reader ultimately accepts a loan offer.
What This Means for Our Editorial Content
Our editorial opinions are not for sale. We rate GoodLeap products based on publicly available data (loan disclosures, state license filings, CFPB complaint data, Trustpilot and EnergySage reviews, and Kroll Bond Rating Agency securitization reports), not on advertising revenue. Our editorial rating of GoodLeap is 3.2 out of 5, which is a mixed verdict. If editorial independence meant inflating that rating to drive more advertising revenue, we would do so. We do not.
Which Lenders Appear in the Partner Network
The partner network is maintained by a third-party advertising aggregator and includes licensed personal loan and installment loan providers in the US. The specific lenders in the network change over time based on their advertising budgets, loan product availability, and state licensing. The network does not currently include loans for New York, Vermont, West Virginia, or Arkansas residents.
What We Do Not Receive
- No compensation from GoodLeap, LLC
- No referral fees from Trustpilot, EnergySage, or review aggregators cited in our content
- No payment for positive reviews of any lender
- No cryptocurrency, equity, or in-kind compensation in exchange for coverage
