Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of goodleapfinancingloans.com, an independent editorial review platform. Please read them carefully before using the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and the editorial team operating goodleapfinancingloans.com (the “Site”). By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site. Your continued use after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
The Site publishes editorial reviews, comparisons, calculators, and educational content about GoodLeap, LLC solar loans, home improvement financing, mortgage products, and alternative lending options for US homeowners. The Site also hosts a third-party Apply form that routes homeowner inquiries to a network of licensed US lender partners.
The Site is provided free of charge to visitors. Our editorial operation is supported by advertising revenue earned when visitors submit the Apply form and are matched with a lender partner.
3. Important Disclaimers
3.1 We Are Not a Lender
GoodLeap Financing Loans does not originate, service, broker, or guarantee any loan. We are an independent editorial review platform. We are not GoodLeap, LLC, not a bank, not a credit union, not a licensed loan originator, and not a mortgage broker. We do not make lending decisions.
3.2 Content Is Not Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
Content on the Site is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes personalized financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, mortgage advice, investment advice, or a recommendation for any specific loan product or financial strategy. Your financial situation is unique, and you should consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, attorney, or licensed loan originator before making any lending decision.
Loan rates, terms, and product features change frequently. Information published on the Site reflects our editorial research at the time of writing and may become outdated. Always verify current terms directly with the lender before signing any loan agreement.
3.3 Editorial Independence
Our editorial content is produced by our editorial team based on publicly available data from the CFPB, NMLS Consumer Access, Kroll Bond Rating Agency, SEC filings, and public homeowner reviews. We accept no compensation from GoodLeap, LLC for coverage, placement, or ratings. However, we earn advertising revenue from the Apply form, which creates an inherent financial interest in Site traffic. See our Advertising Disclosure for details.

We do not accept compensation from GoodLeap, LLC. Our coverage of GoodLeap products is based solely on publicly available information and our independent editorial analysis.
10. DMCA Notice and Takedown
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to us through the Contact page that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;

We will respond to properly submitted notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
11. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- Any content on the Site is accurate, complete, current, or reliable.
- Any loan product described on the Site is available at the terms described.
- The results of using the Site will meet your expectations.
- Any errors in the Site or its content will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE EDITORIAL TEAM OPERATING THIS SITE, OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible loss, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site, any content on the Site, or any loan product you obtain through a lender partner introduced via the Apply form, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100.00) or the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Because the Site is provided free of charge, in most cases this liability cap will be US $100.00.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the editorial team operating this Site, its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any content you submit through the Site.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
You waive any objection to the laying of venue of any such action or proceeding in such courts and any claim that any action or proceeding has been brought in an inconvenient forum.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us through the Contact page with a written description of the dispute. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days of receiving your notice. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and we may pursue the dispute in court subject to Section 14.
You and we each waive any right to a jury trial for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site, to the extent permitted by law.
Class action waiver. You and we agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing Law), 15 (Dispute Resolution), and 17 (Miscellaneous) will survive.
17. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any posted Advertising Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Site and supersede all prior agreements.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and us.
- Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for your convenience; in case of conflict, the English version controls.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.
