GoodLeap Login Help
If you have an existing GoodLeap loan and need to access your account, make a payment, or update your contact information, here is where to find the official GoodLeap customer portal and what to do if you are locked out.
Important: this is not the GoodLeap login page
This site is an independent review platform and does not host the GoodLeap customer login or process account access. For GoodLeap account access, go directly to goodleap.com or use the official GoodLeap mobile app.
Where to Log In to Your GoodLeap Account
- the lender website. Visit goodleap.com and use the "Sign In" or "Customer Portal" link in the main navigation.
- GoodLeap mobile app. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Use the same credentials as the website.
- Direct customer service phone. 1-844-562-6725. Available during standard business hours in Pacific Time.
What You Can Do in the GoodLeap Customer Portal
- View your current loan balance, next payment amount, and due date
- Make a one-time payment or set up automatic recurring payments
- Update your bank account information for ACH payments
- View statements and payment history
- Access tax documents, including the 1098 for interest paid
- Submit a payoff quote request if you plan to pay the loan in full
- Update your contact information, mailing address, email, and phone number
What to Do If You Cannot Log In
- Confirm you are on the official GoodLeap website (goodleap.com) and not a lookalike phishing site.
- Use the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password through the email address on file.
- If your email address on file is outdated, you will need to call GoodLeap customer service to reset credentials with identity verification.
- If you have never created a GoodLeap account but have an active loan, your installer should have sent you a welcome email with portal registration instructions. Check your email for messages from the company or Loanpal (the former company name).
Making Your GoodLeap Payment on Time
GoodLeap reports loan performance to the major consumer credit bureaus. A late payment on a GoodLeap loan will be reflected on your credit report and can lower your FICO score. Automatic payment through ACH is the safest way to ensure on-time payments. If you cannot make a payment, contact GoodLeap customer service before the due date to discuss options — some hardship programs are available on a case-by-case basis.
Flexpay Re-amortization: What to Watch For
If your GoodLeap loan is a Flexpay-style structure, your payment was set on the assumption that you would make a lump-sum prepayment within the first 18 months, historically funded by the 30% federal solar tax credit. If you do not make it, the loan re-amortizes and the payment rises. If your system was completed on or before December 31, 2025, you may still be able to claim the credit on your 2025 return. If it was completed in 2026, there is no federal homeowner credit, so plan to fund the prepayment from savings or budget for the higher payment. Set a reminder for month 16 or 17 and confirm your exact reset date with GoodLeap customer care.
If you are shopping for a new solar or home improvement loan rather than managing an existing one, see our GoodLeap review or compare lending options.
Why Online Account Access Matters
Managing a long-term installment loan requires reliable digital access to loan details. Modern consumer finance has shifted almost entirely online: paper statements are optional on most products, payment reminders arrive by email or text message, and tax documents are typically delivered as PDF downloads rather than mailed. If you cannot log in reliably, you lose visibility into your loan balance, your upcoming payment amounts, and the running total of interest paid for your annual tax filing.
Modern consumer lenders also use the online portal to communicate rate change notices, hardship program eligibility, promotional offers, and amortization adjustments. Missing those messages because of a login problem can cost real money. A quarterly habit of logging in, confirming the next payment amount, and reviewing the recent statement is one of the cheapest forms of personal financial hygiene available.
If you share financial accounts with a spouse or partner, each adult on the loan agreement should be able to log in independently. Some lender portals allow authorized user access for a second person, while others require sharing a single login. Clarify this when you set up the account, because adding a second user months later sometimes requires calling customer service and verifying identity for both parties.
For security, use a unique password that you do not use anywhere else, enable two-factor authentication if the portal supports it, and avoid accessing sensitive financial accounts over public WiFi networks. If you suspect your login credentials have been compromised, contact the lender's fraud line immediately — do not wait for the next business day.
